Getting to and from Belfast City Airport

Belfast City Airport is situated on the A2 Sydenham By Pass road between Belfast and Holywood, on the southern shore of Belfast Lough.

If approaching Belfast on the M1 or M2, follow signs to Belfast City Airport, leading to the A2 via the M3.

A shuttle bus service operates between the Airport Terminal and the nearest train station to the airport at Sydenham.

Translink operate a twice hourly rail service (0600-1800) Monday to Friday to Belfast Central and Victoria Street Stations. The service is hourly after 18.00 and on Saturday and Sunday.

Connections are available from Central Station to the rest of the rail network in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.

Flexibus operate the Airlink 600 bus service every 20 minutes beween 06:00 and 21:50 from the Airport terminal to Belfast Europa Bus Centre adjacent to the Europa Hotel, in the heart of the city.

There is also the No. 3 Metrobus which operates every 20 minutes from Sydenham to City Hall. It is a five minute walk from Airport terminal to the bus stop so not ideal in bad weather or if you have heavy cases.
