And larger 50 seat Saab 2000 aircraft providing up to 60% more capacity will now operate the flights from the north east to both cities.
There will also be three flights each weekday introduced from Newcastle to Cardiff and two a day to Stavanger in Norway from the 7th of April 2008.

All passengers travelling with Eastern Airways benefit from dedicated fast track security channels at Newcastle, Southampton and Cardiff airports and are not charged for hold baggage. All customers also receive complimentary drinks and snacks, including champagne, on flights.
"Business commuters want punctual, convenient flights specifically timed to suit their travel patterns and our increased services from Newcastle enable us to provide a comprehensive schedule to meet their needs and expectations," said Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways’ chief operating officer.
