Getting to and from Edinburgh Airport
by car
Road access to the airport is via the two-level junction on the A8 midway between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts. If approaching the airport from Edinburgh, join the A8 from the city bypass and proceed towards Glasgow. From the North and West you should join the A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and proceed towards Edinburgh. Follow signs for airport.

by train
Edinburgh's main railway station, Waverley, is in the city centre and can be reached by taxi or bus. From here there are services to Glasgow and a variety of other destinations in Scotland and England. Most train services also operate from Edinburgh Haymarket train station which is on the main bus route between the airport and city centre.
by bus
Public buses stop outside the UK Arrivals doors on the terminal forecourt. There is an Airlink 100 bus service between Waverley Bridge in Edinburgh's city centre (close to Waverley railway station and bus station and just off Princes Street). Journey time is about 25-30 minutes and tickets cost £3 single, £5 return (March 2008).

There are three taxi ranks are in operation at Edinburgh Airport. The fleet of airport private vehicle taxis operate from the eastern end of the terminal building while the black cab taxi rank available adjacent to the coach park. The third rank is located on the ground floor of the short stay multi storey car park and is available for taxis that have been pre booked. Journey time to Edinburgh city centre is about 25 minutes.
